Quentin Halys, the winner of the Ismaning Challenger last week, was upset by Mikael Ymer to go to the second round in Stockholm. The big-serving Frenchman led by a set and a break at one point, 5-7 6-4 6-3, making it challenging for the Sweden. In six attempts, the gifted young Swede has never advanced past the second round in Stockholm. In 2016 and 2019, he twice advanced to the second round before falling to Ivo Karlovic and Cedrik Marcel Stebe, respectively.
