She qualified for the French Open as a qualifier, becoming the 16-year-old Michelle Larcher de Brito in 2009’s event the youngest woman to do so and the first Czech female to compete in a major since Nicole Vaidiová (17 years 127 days) at the US Open in 2006. She advanced to the WTA 125 Makarska International Championships semifinals the following week. She defeated Ysaline Bonaventure in the championship match to win the Reinert Open in July, earning her first $100k victory. Three weeks later, at the Prague Open, she had her maiden WTA Tour semifinal appearance, losing to fellow countrywoman and eventual champion Marie Bouzková. After overcoming Alizé Cornet in the second round, she recorded her first top 50 victory there. As the youngest woman in the top 100, she entered the top 100 for the first time at world No. 94, surpassing Coco Gauff, who had previously held the title since October 2019. She made history by becoming the first Czech woman to reach the quarterfinals at the tour level since Vaidiová (17 years, 189 days) in Linz in 2006.

She participated in her second Grand Slam qualifying round at the US Open and won three of the matches to move on to the main event. She beat Eugenie Bouchard, a former player who was ranked in the top 10, in the second round of qualification. She was defeated by Bouzková in a three-set encounter in the first round of the main event, though. In her first Grand Slam doubles match, she and Lucie Hradecká beat Serena and Venus Williams.

Top 60

She entered the Adelaide International 1 ranked No. 102. She defeated Anastasia Potapova and Anna Kalinskaya in qualifying to go to the main draw.
