Karen Khachanov is an Olympics silver medallist. It is perhaps one of the more noteworthy achievements of his career, and it came true at the Tokyo Olympics.
But that isn’t all he’s achieved in his career. The massively talented Russian player has already won four ATP singles titles in his career.
This includes a Paris Masters title from 2018; this is also worth noting since it’s an ATP 1000 event. His career-high ranking in the ATP charts up till now has been 8, which he notched up in 2019.
Regarded as an aggressive baseliner, Khachanov is known for his hard-hitting groundstrokes and serve. Aiming to be offensive, he dictates the rallies using serves or his efficient forehand.

His defensive game is a bit weaker compared to his aggressive play – it is something the Russian player needs to work on.

The couple got married in 2016 having been dating since the year 2011.
They might be a happy couple now but Khachanov and his future wife did not get off to the best of starts. They first met at an airport, where Khachanov bumped his luggage into Shkliaeva!
She rightly gave him an earful, even calling him an idiot. However, the two would eventually fall in love and have known each other for years; Khachanov said they have been friends since he was just 8 years old.

They even trained in the same tennis club together and got married when Khachanov was just 20 years old.
Yes, the couple have one child – a son. They welcomed their son – whose name is David – into the world on 14 September 2019.
