Zhang Shuai is a professional tennis player from China. She is a two-time Grand Slam champion in women’s doubles, having won the Australian Open in 2019 and the US Open in 2021, both with Samantha Stosur. Zhang also finished runner-up with Elise Mertens at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships, and she has reached four more major semifinals in women’s and mixed doubles.

She has a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 2, which she achieved in July 2022, and she has won 12 WTA Tour titles, including the Cincinnati Masters with Stosur in 2021. Zhang has also qualified for the WTA Finals twice.

She has also had success in singles, reaching a high of world No. 23 in November 2016. Zhang has three WTA singles titles, winning the Guangzhou International in 2013 and 2017, as well as the Lyon Open in 2022, and has finished runner-up in three other tournaments. She has reached the quarterfinals of two major tournaments, the 2016 Australian Open and the 2019 Wimbledon Championships.
