Magda Linette is a Polish professional tennis player who was born on February 12, 1992. After making her tour debut in 2009, she achieved a singles career-high ranking of No. 22 in the world in January 2023 following AO 2023. On the WTA Tour, Linette has advanced to five finals and claimed two championships. Due to a knee injury, Linette began the season at the end of March. Her first semifinal appearance since winning the Hua Hin Championships in February came in May. She won over Yulia Putintseva in the Strasbourg quarterfinal before falling to Sorana Cîrstea in a three-set semifinal encounter.
