The 2022 Madrid Open will be a noteworthy event because it will be the 20th time the Men’s tournament has been conducted. The jubilee featured one of the most competitive tournaments in recent memory, with the bulk of the world’s best players in attendance. Alexander Zverev, the incumbent champion, is known for his outstanding tennis in the Spanish city. In the final, he overcame Berrettini, and the Italian is expected to return in time to compete. It will be the first time that both Djokovic and Nadal will compete in the same tournament.
Schedule
On Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m., the qualifying rounds will be held in Madrid. On Sunday, May 1, the main draw will begin at 12:30 p.m. On the first few days, the matches will begin at 11 am local time before shifting to a noon start. The doubles finals will be played on Sunday, May 8 at 3:30 p.m.
