Anett Kontaveit is one of the best players in the world today and she proved that with a dominant victory over Jaqueline Cristian in the first round. The score at the end of the match was 6-3, 6-0 with Kontaveit hitting three aces and recording five out of seven break points.
Anett Kontaveit and Serena Williams are scheduled to face one another in a second round match of the US Open 2022 on Wednesday, August 31. The 2022 US Open is all set to begin from August 29 till September 11.

The 2022 US Open will see six rounds of action excluding the qualifiers. These include the first round, second round, third round, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final for both men’s and women’s. The tournament is scheduled to commence on August 29 and conclude on September 11 this year.
