Diego Schwartzman, the third seed, will take on Elias Ymer of Sweden in the round of 16 of the 2022 Nordea Open.
The ATP Tour 250 tennis competition known as the men’s Swedish Open takes place in July in Bastad, Sweden. The International Swedish Hard Court Championships were the name of the competition when it was first held in 1948. The men’s competition took place on the Grand Prix tennis circuit between 1970 and 1989. South African Eric Sturgess won the first three competitions. Ilie Nastase (1971), Bjorn Borg (1974, 1978-1979), Mats Wilander (1982-1983, 1985), and Rafael Nadal are some more well-known winners (2005). In order to make room for the new hotel under the coastal bleachers, the stadium where the tournament is hosted underwent renovated in 2002.
Diego Schwartzman, the third seed, will take on Elias Ymer of Sweden in the round of 16 of the 2022 Nordea Open. Schwartzman has had a below par season so far with regard to his standards. The Argentine was ousted in the second round of Wimbledon by Liam Broady and at Roland Garros, he only managed to reach the fourth round.
Diego Schwartzman and Elias Ymer will take on each other on Wednesday, July 13 in the round of 16 of the 2022 ATP Nordea Open. The competition is scheduled to commence on July 11 and conclude on July 17 this year.
