Albert Ramos Vinolas v Dominic Stricker will take on each other on Thursday, July 21 in the second round of the 2022 Swiss open Gstaad.
A seasoned golfer with a stellar record, Albert Ramos Vinolas, is back in Switzerland. He made it to the quarterfinals in 2016 and won the Gstaad championship in 2019. Ramos Vinolas is experiencing a hit-or-miss year, going 16-15 on his preferred clay court. Given that he won the Cordoba Open, the first tournament on clay courts of the year, his record is quite unexpected. The seasoned player had advanced to Santiago and Estoril’s semifinal. At the age of 34, the former champion chooses to compete mostly in clay events since he is a clay court expert.
Swiss player Dominic Stricker, who won the boys’ singles title at the 2020 French Open, is very good. He is competing in the year-end Next Gen competition at the age of 19. The left-handed, 19-year-old player is quite flamboyant in his play. He can consistently serve large and has a very smooth serving style. Stricker is also quite skilled with the net, and he frequently uses it while under duress. The young Swiss musician will give it all he’s got in front of the crowd at home and hopes to leave his imprint on the tour.
Albert Ramos Vinolas v Dominic Stephan Stricker will take on each other on Thursday, July 21 in the second round of the 2022 Swiss open Gstaad. The competition is scheduled to commence on July 17 and conclude on July 23 this year.
