The top seeded men’s pair of Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury will face the team of Jan Zielinski and Hugo Nys in the quarter-final of the 2022 US Open. Ram and Salisbury faced the Italian duo of Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli in the round of 16 and came out 6-1, 7-5 victors. The top seeds recorded three aces in the match and converted five out of eight break points to seal the deal. Their quarter-final opponents Zielinski and Nys have already pulled off an upset when they beat the 10th seeded pair and they could do it again. In their previous match, the Polish-Monegasque pair defeated Ariel Behar and Gonzalo Escobar 6-1, 6-4 after hitting six aces and converting three out of seven break points.
Ram/Salisbury and Zielinski/Nys are scheduled to face each other on Tuesday, September 6 in the quarter-final of the 2022 US Open. The fourth and final Grand Slam of the season began on August 29 and will go on until September 11.
