On Friday in the final round of the 2022 US open men's doubles Koolhof/Skupski will face Ram/Salisbury.
Defending champions Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury defeated Juan Sebastián Caba and Robert Farah inn the US Open semifinals on Thursday, winning 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 and keeping their bid for back-to-back titles alive. Ram and Salisbury, who are chasing a third Grand Slam title this week at Flushing Meadows, responded with a decisive break in the first game of the third set, going on to win in two hours and 34 minutes. Meanwhile their opponent Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski defeated Rojer and Arevalo in straight sets and booked thier places in the finals.
Ram/Salisbury and Koolhof/Skupski are scheduled to face each other on Friday, September 9 in the final of the 2022 US Open. The fourth and final Grand Slam of the season began on August 29 and will go on until September 11.
