Arthur Rinderknech is a tennis player from France. On January 17, 2022, he achieved his career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 48. On November 8, 2021, he achieved a career-high ATP doubles ranking of world No. 124. After reaching the first ATP Tour final at 2022 Adelaide-2, the Frenhman broke into the top 50 with a career-high ranking of 48. In 2021, he advanced to the Kitzbuhel semi-finals, reached six other ATP Tour quarter-finals, and won his first 18 tour-level victories. As a qualifier, Rinderknech also won Challenger titles in 2020 Rennes, 2020 Calgary, and 2021 Istanbul.

Rinderknech made his Grand Slam main draw debut in doubles with Florian Lakat at the 2018 French Open as a wildcard. He also played as a wildcard in the first rounds of the 2020 French Open, making his singles main draw debut and partnering with Manuel Guinard in the doubles main draw, reaching the second round in both.

For the first time in his career, Rinderknech qualified for the main draw of the 2021 Wimbledon Championships. He lost only the second 12–12 singles tiebreak since the rule was implemented two years ago, losing 6–4, 3–6, 2–6, 7–6(5), 12–13(2) to Oscar Otte in the first round, the other match being the Federer-Djokovic 2019 final.

Grand Slam debut

He entered the main draw of the 2021 US Open for the first time and also reached the second round of a Grand Slam for the first time in his career, defeating Miomir Kecmanovic 6–7(10), 3–6, 7–5, 6–3, 6–4 after a comeback from two sets down. Following a quarterfinal appearance at the 2021 Stockholm Open, where he was defeated by defending champion and third seed Denis Shapovalov, he entered the top 60 for the first time on November 15, 2021, at World No. 58.

Rinderknech reached his first ATP Tour final at the Adelaide International 2, defeating Mackenzie McDonald, Kwon Soon-woo, Karen Khachanov, 3rd seed and runner-up in the first tournament, and qualifier, compatriot Corentin Moutet. In the final, he was defeated in three sets by Australian wildcard Thanasi Kokkinakis. Rinderknech made his debut in the world's top 50 at No. 48 on January 17, 2022, as a result of reaching the final.

In his first match at the 2022 Australian Open, he defeated Alexei Popyrin in five sets to win his first match at this Major. Rinderknech was scheduled to face Dan Evans in the second round, but he pulled out due to a wrist injury.
