Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev have clashed 10 times in their career, with Djokovic winning six matches. Medvedev, though, has won four out of the last seven encounters against the Serb. All the four wins have come in the two-year period after Djokovic won the first three encounters.
It was Djokovic who dominated the early encounters in 2017 on all three surfaces. However, Medvedev registered his first win against Djokovic on clay by beating him in the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Monte Carlo.
