Besides the trophies Basilashvili has won, the Georgian also famously reached his first ATP Masters 1000 final at Indian Wells last year. He earned his second ATP crown in October that year when he defeated top seed, Juan Martin del Potro, in the final of the China Open.
Basilashvili has faced Dusan Lajovic six times so far in his career and has emerged victorious on five of those occasions. The latest victory came at the 2021 French Open.
