The Aussie will be eager to begin competing at Wimbledon now that he is back. Kyrgios enjoys competing here and has said several times that this is the finest competition. The excellent British player Paul Jubb will attempt to surprise Kyrgios in the opening round of his home slam. Although the young Brit has a big hurdle ahead of him, he expressed enthusiasm at the possibility of competing at Wimbledon.
Kyrgios possesses the distinctive grass game. For him, there is a degree of comfort on grass that cannot be equaled on other surfaces. This will be a challenging encounter, but Jubbs’ familiarity with the terrain plus some young foolishness could enable him to play a fantastic match. Naturally, Nick Kyrgios is greatly favoured in this match; anything less than a victory in straight sets for the Australian would be quite unexpected.
