According to social media posts, the Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios celebrated with girlfriend Costeen Hatzi and sister Halimah Kyrgios at London hot spot Wyld after losing to Novak Djokovic in the final. Halimah, a voice and performance coach, shared a sneak glimpse at the group’s night out on Instagram Stories on Sunday, capturing the scene from behind the DJ booth. Hatzi, who has been dating Kyrgios for several months, joked that Halimah was a “bad influence” as she clutched two bottles at their table. Wyld’s Instagram account also mentioned Kyrgios, who was pictured wearing a red baseball cap and a black sweater.

Djokovic overcame Kyrgios earlier in the day, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (3), to win his fourth Wimbledon title and eighth overall. Regardless of the outcome, Kyrgios’ strongest fans applauded him for getting it this far in the competition. “Super proud. What an achievement, I love you so much @k1ngkyrg1os,” Hatzi, 22, commented on Instagram. Hatzi, a social media personality, paid passionate tribute to Kyrgios, with whom she has been linked since late last year, before to the start of the match. “The big day. Words cannot explain how proud I am of you. You are supported by so many and you never fail to show how talented, entertaining and resilient you are. Finals at Wimbledon, that is a huge achievement in itself. Your hard work and dedication is paying off. I am so lucky to be on this journey with you,” she wrote on Instagram.

Kyrgios Fined once again

Kyrgios was fined once again for his behavior at Wimbledon men’s singles finals after losing to Novak Djokovic. Kyrgios started strong in the match on Sunday (11 July), but things began to fall apart when he lost five straight games from 40-0 on his serve and went on to lose the third set, which Djokovic won for the seventh time. Kyrgios appeared to blame a spectator for interrupting his focus by shouting between his serves at one point during the match, requesting chair umpire Renaud Lichtenstein for a first serve after hitting a double fault. He then asked for the removal of a female from Centre Court, saying, “The one with the dress, the one who looks like she’s had about 700 drinks, dude!” Kyrgios was later fined $4,000 (£2,270.60) for an audible profanity in front of royalty, with Prince William and Kate Middleton’s kid Prince George in attendance.

The fine was one of several that Kyrgios received during his time at Wimbledon, the first coming after his first-round match against Paul Jubb. During the game, the Australian player alleged that spectators were being abusive to him and requested that action be done by the umpire. He was also seen spitting at a fan after the game ended. As a result, he received a fine of £8,211 ($14,464.95). In his third-round encounter against Stefanos Tsitsipas, he was fined £3,300 ($5813.46) for requesting a “new referee” and arguing his opponent should be dismissed.

After being crowned Wimbledon 2022 runner-up, Kyrgios stated that he was relieved he did not win the event because he believes it would have left him demotivated.
