Although grass is more conducive to his style of play, he is now going through one of his worst slumps ever. Nakashima beat Shapovalov 2-6, 6-4, 1-6, 6(5)-7(8).
Daniel Galan’s Wimbledon round three advancement was largely due to good fortune. Despite not being a natural player on grass, the Columbian player is here because of the Covid illness, which prevented Roberto Augusta from competing. The Spaniard had to leave this contest after a positive test result. Galan would have struggled against that opponent, just as he would probably struggle against his following opponent.

The Championships is scheduled to begin on June 27 and go on until July 10. There were a number of exciting matches on July 2 as the likes of Nadal, Tsitsipas, Kyrgios and others will be in action.
