The 21-year-old Taiwanese player was a hugely popular junior player in 2018, winning girls’ singles and doubles titles at the Australian Open. In Nanchang, China, in 2018, she reached her maiden WTA quarterfinal rapidly at the age of 17, but she has since failed to get past the first round just twice.
