At the Adelaide International 2, he was knocked out by Kubler in the round of 32 stage. He shocked the entire world by making it into the finals of the Chile Open but eventually lost to Jarry. In the ongoing Miami Open, he beat Kotov in the first-round matchup by 2-6, 2-6.
