Aslan Karatsev will take on Hugo Gaston in the round of 16 of the 2022 Nordea Open.
The ATP Tour 250 tennis competition known as the men’s Swedish Open takes place in July in Bastad, Sweden. The International Swedish Hard Court Championships were the name of the competition when it was first held in 1948. The men’s competition took place on the Grand Prix tennis circuit between 1970 and 1989. South African Eric Sturgess won the first three competitions. Ilie Nastase (1971), Bjorn Borg (1974, 1978-1979), Mats Wilander (1982-1983, 1985), and Rafael Nadal are some more well-known winners (2005). In order to make room for the new hotel under the coastal bleachers, the stadium where the tournament is hosted underwent renovated in 2002.
Aslan Karatsev will take on Hugo Gaston in the round of 16 of the 2022 Nordea Open. Karatsev beat Lorenzo Sonego in the first round by a score of 6-0, 2-6, 6-4. Gaston, on the other hand, was handed a walkover victory against sixth seed Nikoloz Basilashvili who had to withdraw due to an injury concern.
Aslan Karatsev and Hugo Gaston will take on each other on Wednesday, July 13 in the round of 16 of the 2022 ATP Nordea Open. The competition is scheduled to commence on July 11 and conclude on July 17 this year.
