Hurkacz/Zienlinski and Evans/Peers will take each other on Sunday in semifinal round of 2022 Canadian open men's doubles.
On Saturday , Daniel Evans and John Peers defeated the no 2 seed Horacia Zeballos and Marcel Granollers in thrilling 2 tiebreakers straight sets 7-6(7-3), 7-6(7-3). The British-Australian team have been doing well meanwhile Evans is performing well in singles competition too. He has already advanced to semifinal round where he will face Pablo Carreno Busta.
Meanwhile the Polish pair Hubert Hurkacz and Jan Zienliski defeated the no 4 seeded team of Marcelo Arevalo and Jean Julien Rojer in straight sets 7-6(7-2), 6-4. Hurkacz has picked up the pace in this tournament as he ended Nick Kyrgios winning streak in stunning 3 set match 6-7, 7-6, 6-1 and advanced to semifinal round where he will face Casper Ruud.
Hurkacz/Zienlinski and Evans/Peers will take on each other on Sunday August 14 in the semifinals of the 2022 Canadian open Men’s doubles. The competition is scheduled to commence on August 8 and conclude on August 15 this year.
The 2022 edition of the Canadian Open is set to begin from August 8 and go on until August 15. The men’s final is scheduled to be on August 15 and the women’s one is set to be held on August 14. There will be six rounds of play in the main draw excluding the qualifiers.
