10th seed Elena Rybakina has been in stellar form for the past few months and she will be adamant to perform well in the Indian Wells Masters as well. In her recent tournament at the Australian Open, she made it to the finals after beating players such as Azarenka, Ostapenko, Swiatek, Collins, and Juvan but lost to Sabalenka on the all-important day despite winning the first set. At the Adelaide International 1 tournament and the recent Dubai Tennis Championships, she made it to the round of 16 stage losing to Kostyuk and Gauff respectively. In the ongoing Indian Wells, she beat Kenin in the first-round matchup by 7-6, 7-6, and in the round of 32 matchup, she beat Badosa by 6-3, 7-5. She beat Gracheva in the round of 16 matchup by 6-3, 6-0, and beat Muchova in the quarter-finals by 6-7, 6-2, 4-6. In the semis, she beat Iga Swiatek by 2-6, 2-6. It will be a tough match for Rybakina as she has never won against Sabalenka before.

In her recent tournament at the Australian Open, she shocked the whole world by lifting the trophy beating players such as Rybakina, Linette, Vekic, Mertens, Bencic, and Rogers. At the Adelaide International 1 tournament, she also won the tournament in fine fashion by overcoming players such as Noskova, Begu, Vondrousova, and Samsonova on the way. And at the recent Dubai Tennis Championships, she made it to the quarter-finals where she lost to Krejcikova. In the ongoing Indian Wells, she beat Rodina in the first-round matchup by 2-6, 0-6, and in the round of 32 matchup, she received a walkover against Noskova. She beat Krejcikova in the round of 16 matchup by 3-6, 6-2, 4-6, and beat Gauff in the quarter-finals by 4-6, 0-6. In the semis, she beat Sakkari by 2-6, 3-6.
