Daniel Evans is an English professional tennis player. The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) has him ranked as high as world No. 22 in singles, which he achieved on September 27, 2021, and he is currently the British No. 2 in singles. On April 26, 2021, he reached a career-high ranking of world No. 52 in doubles. He was a member of the British Davis Cup winning team in 2015.

Evans made it to the fourth round of the 2017 Australian Open and the 2021 US Open, both Grand Slam events. Evans has reached the third round of seven major tournaments: the 2013 US Open, the 2016 US Open, Wimbledon 2019, the 2019 US Open, Wimbledon 2021, and the 2022 Australian Open. Evans has reached three ATP Tour finals: the 2017 Apia International Sydney (where he was defeated by Gilles Muller), the Delray Beach Open (where he was defeated by Radu Albot), and the 2021 Murray River Open, where he defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime to win his first title.

Evans debuted for Great Britain in the Davis Cup against Poland in September 2009. Evans helped Great Britain advance to the Davis Cup World Group by winning deciding fifth rubbers against Slovakia and Russia, respectively. Evans also competed in the Davis Cup semifinal against Australia, losing both of his rubbers, and was a substitute in the Final against Belgium, with Great Britain winning the tournament for the first time in 79 years in 2015. The 2015 BBC Sports Personality Team of the Year Award went to the Davis Cup team.
