The round of 16 of the 2022 WTA Guadalajara Open is upon us and the first scheduled match of the round will be played between Marie Bouzkova and Liudmila Samsonova. Bouzkova enjoyed a comfortable 6-3, 6-1 win over Camila Osorio in the second round on Thursday. Despite having a poor service performance, the Czech tennis player returned five out of eight break points to seal the deal and move on into the last 16.

It’s very tough to play against Aryna,” Samsonova said. “For me, she’s an amazing player. I step on the court and try to do my best, and today was my day.”
