The Bad Homburg Open is a women’s professional tennis tournament held in the Bad Homburg Tennis Club in Bad Homburg, Germany, on outdoor grass courts. The event, which is a WTA 250 tournament on the WTA Tour, first took place in June 2021 after being postponed from 2020 because to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Bad Homburg Tennis Club’s new stadium was erected on the location of Europe’s first tennis court, Kurpark, and Angelique Kerber christened the stadium at its opening ceremony in July 2020.

The top seed this season is Daria Kasatkina of Russia. Belinda Becnic and Veronika Kudermetova were supposed to be seeded second and fifth respectively but they could not participate.
