Seoul will host the ATP Korea Open Tennis Championships, a 28-draw outdoor hard court tournament, for the first time since 1996. From 1987 until 1996, the South Korean capital held a tour-level event. The men’s competition at the 2022 Korea Open will begin on September 26. The ATP Korea Open 2022 will feature five rounds of competition apart from the qualifying matches. These are the round of 32, round of 16, quarter-final, semi-final and final. The tournament is scheduled to start on Monday, September 26 and conclude on Sunday, October 2.

The winner of the men’s singles competition at the Korea Open will get USD 170,035 in prize money, while the runner-up will receive $99,185. The semifinalists will each receive USD 58,310, and each quarterfinalist will receive USD 33,790. The tournament’s total prize fund is USD 1,117,930.
