The Gijon Open 2022 is a professional men’s tennis tournament held on indoor hard courts. It will be the event’s first edition, and it will be part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the 2022 ATP Tour. It will be held from October 10 to 16, 2022, in the Palacio de Deportes in Gijon, Spain. Owing to the cancellation of tournaments in China due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, the event was one of six issued single-year ATP 250 licences in September and October 2022.
The ATP Gijon Open will have five rounds of action excluding the qualifiers. These are the round of 32, round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final. The competition’s main draw is set to commence on October 10, 2022 and conclude on October 16, 2022.
