The top seed in the draw is current US Open champion and World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz.
The Argentina Open will be held from February 13–19, 2023, so the South American golden swing is moving to Buenos Aires this week. The top seed in the draw is current US Open champion and World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz. Since suffering an injury at the 2022 Paris Masters, he hasn’t participated in an ATP tournament. The adolescent is about to make a comeback. Lorenzo Musetti and Cameron Norrie, both top-20 competitors, are seeded second and third, respectively. Diego Schwartzman, a fan favourite at home, completes the top four seeds. Dominic Thiem, the 2020 US Open champion, was given a wildcard, while Casper Ruud, the current champion, opted not to play.
The tournament was established for the first time in 1927. It has undergone a few changes over time. It was a part of both the Grand Prix Super Series competition and the Grand Prix tennis circuit for a while. For a few years in between, it was also run as a Challenger event. It is now considered an ATP 250 event and is a regular component of the ATP tour. It is played on outdoor clay courts and has a 28-player draw.
The 2023 ATP Argentina Open will have five rounds of play excluding the qualifying rounds. These are the round of 32, round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. The main draw of the tournament is scheduled to begin on Monday, February 6 and conclude on Sunday February 19. Here is the tentative round-wise schedule of the ATP 250 event.

Round of 32 | February 13-14 |
Round of 16 | February 15-16 |
Quarter-finals | February 17 |

The top half of the draw is led by Carlos Alcaraz and Diego Schwartzman, who are seeded first and fourth, respectively. Both have received byes in the first round. In the second round, the adolescent might face Laslo Djere or Fabio Fognini. The top two competitors in the bottom half of the draw are Lorenzo Musetti and Cameron Norrie. They each have a first-round bye because they are the second and third seeds, respectively. The second round matchup between the Brit and Federico Coria is likely. Dominic Thiem’s opening opponent, seventh-seeded Alex Molcan, is a fairly challenging opponent. Albert Ramos-Vinolas is also in this half of the draw, and he typically performs well on clay.
