PV Sindhu beat Supanida Katething of Thailand in the quarter-finals of the Syed Modi International Super 300 competition on Friday.

In a one-hour and five-minute quarter-final match, PV Sindhu defeated her Thai opponent, who was ranked sixth in the event.

At the Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium, the top seed required only 33 minutes to defeat Lam 21-16, 21-13.
