Manchester United footballer Mason Greenwood will remain on bail until-June over allegations he rapes and assaulted a young Woman, the police said on Friday.

The Manchester United forward was earlier released on bail and has beefed up security around his mansion.

Greater Manchester Police informed on Wednesday that the 20-year-old was released from custody on bail pending further inquiries.

Greenwood, 20, will not play or train for United while police and the club investigate the circumstances surrounding the evidence.
