The singles action in table tennis at the 2022 Commonwealth Games is all set to start from August 3, with India fielding a litany of athletes who have the potential to go all the way and bag a medal for the country. The Indian table tennis contingent boasts of players like Manika Batra, Sharath Kamal, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and many others and the para table tennis contingent has the likes of Bhavina Patel, Sonalben Patel and others. India’s start to this year’s Commonwealth Games has been impressive, more so in the table tennis department. The nation won a gold medal in the men’s team category which concluded on Tuesday, August 2, and the paddlers will be hoping to carry that form into the singles events.
