Juventus travel to Sassuolo, aiming to consolidate their fourth spot and keep their slim hopes of Scudetto alive. Massimiliano Allegri’s side currently sit at the fourth spot with 63 points from 33 games, 11 points adrift of the Serie A leaders AC Milan. Meanwhile Sassuolo are sitting pretty in mid-table and realistically only have a top-half finish to fight for before the curtain closes on the 2021-22 season.

Sassuolo’s form off late has been hot and cold, winning one then losing one in the past few weeks. In their last ten league games, the Neroverdi have won five, including a 2-0 win over defending champions Inter Milan, lost three and drawn two.
In the previous game against relegation-threatened Cagliari, Sassuolo lost 1-0 courtesy of Alessandro Deiola’s effort on the stroke of half-time. No matter what transpires over the weekend before taking on the pitch on Monday, Alessio Dionisi’s side will hold their 10th placed position in the table.
Meanwhile Sassuolo have won three consecutive league games at Mapei stadium, scoring at least two goals in each of their last five on their home turf.
On the other hand, Juventus are heading into the match on the back of a 2-0 win over Fiorentina on Wednesday to enter the final of the Coppa Italia. Goals from Federico Bernardeschi and Danilo at Allianz Arena helped the Bianconeri to secure a 3-0 aggregate win and book a meeting with Inter Milan in the final, which will take place on May 12.
Juve’s form this month hasn’t been very great, having lost 2-0 to Inter early in the month before beating Cagliari 2-1, and then settling for a 1-1 draw against Bologna last weekend. Meanwhile Allegri’s side are unbeaten domestically on the road since October and have won their last three Serie A games away from home.
Sassuolo lost right-back Jeremy Toljan to a shoulder injury after just 21 minutes of the loss to Cagliari, so Mert Muldur could come in to take his place. Domenico Berardi, who missed the Cagliari loss, is set to come back into the starting eleven.
As for Juventus, the injury list is pretty long, with Arthur, Kaio Jorge, Marley Ake, Manuel Locatelli, Federico Chiesa and Weston McKennie all still sidelined. Because of shortage of options, allegri could be forced to deploy Danilo in midfield alongside Denis Zakaria
Sassuolo possible starting lineup: Consigli, Muldur, Chiriches, Ferrari, Kyriakopoulos, Lopez, Frattesi, Berardi, Raspadori, Traore, Scamacca
Juventus possible starting lineup: Szczesny, Cuadrado, Bonucci, De Light, Sandro, Bernardeschi, Danilo, Zakaria, Rabiot, Dybala, Vlahovic.
The Serie A clash between Sassuolo and Juventus will take place at the Mapei Stadium and it will kick off at 12:15 am IST on Monday, April 26.
The match will be live streamed on the Voot Select/Jio TV. Meanwhile, football fans in India can also enjoy the action on vh1 the flagship channel of viacom18, who will air Serie A matches exclusively, along with select national and regional network channels.
