Inter Milan will travel to Bologna for the Serie A fixture without Arturo vidal, Robin Gosens and Felipe Cicedo, according to Sky sport Italia. The Nerazzurri visit Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side, aiming to move one step closer to the Scudetto. A victory at Renato Dall’Ara would help Simone Inzahi’s side to move back to the summit of the standings. They are currently two points adrift of the leaders AC Milan, but have a game in hand.

The Nerazzurri are assured of defending their Serie A title if they don’t lose any points in their remaining five fixtures. Meanwhile, Sky sport Italia reports that Caicedo, Gosens and Vidal have some physical problems and won’t take part in the Bologna game.

Gosens is slowly regaining his full fitness after a long layoff with a thigh injury and netted his first goal for Inter against AC Milan in the 3-0 Coppa Italia semi-final victory last week. The full-back joined the champions from Atalanta in January and has been fighting with Ivan Perisic for a place in the starting eleven since making his return from injury. Gosens suffered a muscle issue during training session.

Meanwhile Vidal is still recovering from an ankle issue he sustained during the Milan win and Caicedo missed the Roma game with gastroenteritis. Absence of these three players shouldn’t be a very big problem for Inzaghi as they have enough depth in the squad to replace them. In the absence of Gosens, Ivan Perisic is likely to continue at the left-back position while Hakan Calhanoglu will continue in the midfield, in place of Vidal.

In-form striker Lautaro Martinez will lead the attack alongside Joaquin Correa. Martinez has been in super form having scored four times in his last three matches, taking his tally for the season to 20 goals. Inter are on a five match winning run, having netted 12 times and conceded just twice in the impressive run. A victory against Bologna will help Inter to move to the summit of the standing.
