Rugby Sevens, Group D, Commonwealth Games, Kenya vs Uganda, will take place on July 29. Birmingham 2022 has officially released the rugby sevens competition match schedule, which will be played at Coventry Stadium from July 29 to July 31. This comes after the pools were made public. In the men’s event, New Zealand, which took home the gold medal at the 2018 Gold Coast Games, will take on Sri Lanka; in the women’s competition, Canada. In the second game of the day, they will compete against Sri Lanka and Samoa (men) (women). The crucial encounter against New Zealand is slated for Saturday, July 30,’s morning session. England’s men’s team will also play against Samoa and Sri Lanka on the opening day.

Later on Friday at 8:58 PM, Shujaa will play Jamaica in Pool D’s second encounter. On Saturday, July 30, Shujaa will play Australia at 12:50 E.A.T to complete their group stage fixtures. As they approach this event, Kenya Sevens will be eager to improve upon their 2018 performance. In Pool C, Shujaa was grouped with New Zealand, Canada, and Zambia. After beating Canada and Zambia, they finished second in the pool with seven points, but an All Blacks loss prevented them from advancing to the semifinals. After losing to Wales and Australia in the classification round, they came in seventh.
