Sony Pictures Sports Network all set to broadcast the 35th Annual Edition of WWE Survivor Series

For the first time in India, WWE Survivor Series will be telecast in 4 languages – English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Sony Pictures Sports Network (SPSN), the official broadcaster of WWE in India, is all set to telecast the 35th annual edition of WWE Survivor Series, the only WWE event of the year where WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown superstars go head-to-head in battle of brand supremacy. For the first time in India, WWE Survivor Series will be broadcast LIVE in four languages – English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. Fans across India can watch one of the greatest sportainment spectacle in the world on SONY TEN 1 (English), SONY TEN 3 (Hindi) & SONY TEN 4 (Tamil & Telugu) channels on November 22, 2021 from 6:30 am IST.

With an aim to serve the Indian WWE fan base and make them feel an intrinsic part of the event, SPSN will LIVE telecast a 1-hour build up to Survivor Series special called Kickoff from 5.30 am IST. SPSN will also take fans through the exciting results of Survivor Series 2021, possible ramifications to the story lines along with showcasing LIVE fan reactions to the majestic event in their special post-event show ‘WWE EXTRAAA DHAMAAL’. The show will be hosted by Sahil Khattar and will feature WWE Hall of Famer, Kane as a special guest to talk about his views on the 35th edition of WWE Survivor series and celebrate 25 years of The Rock.

WWE Survivor Series is among the ‘Big Four’ events and the second longest running WWE PPV event after WrestleMania. This edition will also mark the 25th anniversary of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s WWE debut at the 1996 Survivor Series. The match card will offer unique matches between WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown Superstars for ‘WWE Brand Supremacy’. In the battle of brands, Men’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match will feature Seth Rollins, Finn Bálor, Kevin Owens, Austin Theory and “The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley from Team WWE RAW and Drew McIntyre, The New Day’s King Woods, Jeff Hardy and Happy Corbin, representing Team WWE SmackDown.

Women’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match will see power-packed action between Team Raw consisting of Bianca Belair, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Carmella and Queen Zelina and Team SmackDown featuring Sasha Banks, Shotzi, Shayna Baszler and Natalya. Fans can watch the LIVE coverage of WWE Survivor Series 2021 on SONY TEN 1 (English), SONY TEN 3 (Hindi) and SONY TEN 4 (Tamil and Telugu) channels on November 22, 2021. Survivor Series KICKOFF will start from 5:30 am (IST) followed by WWE Survivor Series main event from 6.30 am (IST).

Sony Pictures Networks India extends its broadcast partnership with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA)

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has extended its partnership with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for the next three years until the season end of 2023-2024. With this renewal, SPN will be the official broadcaster of premium European club football properties: UEFA Champions League (UCL), UEFA Europa League (UEL), UEFA Youth League (UFL), UEFA Super Cup (USC) and the newly launched UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) in the Indian sub-continent. SPN will broadcast a total of 138 matches across UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup properties, 141 matches of UEFA Europa League, 141 matches of UEFA Europa Conference League and 39 matches of UEFA Youth League each season. Select matches will be telecast LIVE across Sony Sports channels and all matches will be livestreamed on its on-demand OTT platform SonyLIV.
