Fury was supposed to fight Jake Paul in Tampa in December, but “TNT” withdrew due to a chest ailment and a broken rib sustained during training. That made room for Tyron Woodley, who attempted to exact revenge for his defeat by “The Problem Child” in August 2021 but instead crashed onto the canvas. Paul improved to 5-0 with this victory and four knockouts. Paul continued, saying, “Tommy Fury comes from a bloodline of legendary fighters. His brother (Tyson) is the heavyweight champion of the world. His dad went to jail for ripping someone’s eye out. Tommy Fury has been boxing since he was 12 years old, just mauled a 10-1 boxer and knocked him to the ground. The Fury name is just as infamous as the Mayweather (name).”
