Jake Paul now wants to boost the stakes by fighting two opponents in one night, and not just any opponents, but two of the best fighters in history. Floyd Mayweather Jr. returned to the ring on Saturday night in Abu Dhabi for an exhibition contest against his longtime sparring partner, Don Moore. On the undercard, Anderson Silva, a UFC superstar, fought fellow MMA fighter and countryman Bruno Machado. Both Mayweather Jr. and Silva were impressive, overwhelming their opponents, but because it was a demonstration, they were not officially declared victors.

Jake Paul tweeted loud and clear, “I would beat Floyd and Anderson in the same night.”

Silva is a former UFC middleweight champion who held the championship for 2,457 days and defended it a total of ten times. Paul has been eyeing him as a possible future opponent for some time, with the YouTuber due to return to the ring on August 13th.

Tommy Fury the chosen one

With that stated, there are rumours that Tommy Fury, Tyson Fury‘s younger brother, will be the chosen opponent, but it appears like Paul and Silva will face one other in the ring at some time in the future. Mayweather Jr’s accomplishments are well-known, having won 15 major world titles ranging from super featherweight to super welterweight and retiring undefeated with a 50-0 record. Last year, he fought Jake Paul’s brother Logan, and in the build-up, ‘Money’ had a scuffle with the younger Paul sibling when he stole his hat. Following that event, Mayweather Jr offered Paul the chance to fight him, but only at his’real fighting weight’ of 154 pounds, which is ridiculous given Paul’s cruiserweight status.
