ISSF World Cup 2023 Bhopal: LIVE Streaming, When and Where to Watch, Schedule, Indian Contingent

India’s top shooters, including world champion Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil and Olympians Manu Bhaker, Anjum Moudgil, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, and Divyansh Singh Panwar, will be competing in the ISSF World Cup 2023 Bhopal in the rifle/pistil events. The ISSF World Cup 2023 will be held from March 21 to 27 and will feature a total of 198 shooters from 30 countries. The Indian contingent comprises 37 shooters, with 22 of them competing for medals and the remaining aiming to achieve Minimum Qualification Scores (MQS). The competition will comprise 10 finals over five days, with the first competitions scheduled to begin on March 22.

Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil, the reigning world champion, will be participating in the 10m Air Rifle event alongside Divyansh Singh Panwar. Patil’s gold medal was a significant achievement for India, as it was the first gold medal for an Indian shooter in the 10m Air Rifle event at the world championships since Abhinav Bindra in 2006. Patil’s victory also secured another Paris 2024 Olympics quota place for India. In the men’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, who won gold at the ISSF World Cup Cairo leg, and Swapnil Kusale, who secured an Olympic quota for the nation at the World Championship in Cairo, will be representing India at the ISSF World Cup 2023.

The Indian shooters will be facing tough competition from some of the world’s prominent shooters, including China’s Liu Jinyao and Lu Kaiman, the reigning men’s and women’s world champions in 10m Air Pistol, and American Carolyn Mary Tucker, the Tokyo Olympics 2020 silver medalist in the 10m Air Rifle.
