The finale of the year on the World Judo Tour, Judo World Masters, is scheduled to be held at the Pais Arena in Jerusalem, Israel, from 20 December to 22 December 2022. Twelve of the fourteen world number one will be competing in the tournament. Israel has previously hosted international competitions such as the European U23 Championship, Grand Prix and Grand Slam competitions. The top 36 athletes in the IJF Senior World Ranking List in each weight category have been invited to participate in the competition. The competition has garnered the attention of around 367 top judokas across various disciplines. Miku Takaichi, Dicko of France, Renshall of Great Britain, are a few of the prime contender judokas for the competition in Jerusalem.
