Vegas Golden Knights will host defending champions Colorado Avalanche at the T-Mobile Arena for an NHL preseason game on Wednesday. Vegas comes into this game after losing their last game to the Los Angeles Kings 2-1. Center Jack Eichel scored the only goal for the Golden Knights as he had three shots on goal. Eichel said after the game, “I thought we worked hard as a group, we had some chances, we just weren’t able to finish any of our opportunities there.”

Defending champions Colorado Avalanche on the other hand have had a rough start to their preseason and come into this game on the back of a 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild. Goals from Martin Kaut and Alex Newhook were not sufficient as Minnesota ran riot over Colorado. Charles Hudon dished out two assists and finished the game with two points similar to Martin Kaut.
