The Vancouver Canucks will welcome the Seattle Kraken to Rogers Arena for an NHL preseason game on Thursday. The Canucks have not been having a good preseason as they have lost the two games they have played till now with the last one coming in a 4-0 loss to the Calgary Flames. Vancouver head coach Bruce Boudreau said after the game, “I thought we never quit. Kept pushing through. The ‘never quit’ thing that was important last year will be important this year.”
The Seattle Kraken on the other hand are in good form at the moment as they beat the Calgary Flames 3-0 in their last game. Goals from Andrew Poturalski, Jaden Schwartz and Daniel Sprong ensured that Seattle won the game with the same scoreline as when they beat the Edmonton Oilers 3-0 in their first preseason game. Head coach Dave Hakstol had a word with the press after their latest practice session and said, “We’ve had really good work days and we had that again today. A lot of guys that played last night.and I was happy to see their effort level.”
