The Tampa Bay Lightning will take on the Colorado Avalanche in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final at the Amalie Arena on June 20.
The Tampa Bay Lightning will head home to the Amalie Arena to take on the Colorado Avalanche in Game 3 of the NHL Stanley Cup Final. The Avalanche hold a 2-0 lead and can further strengthen their grip on the title if they win Game 3. The Colorado outfit will be buoyed by their performance in Game 2 where they thrashed Tampa Bay 7-0 in what can only be described as a comprehensive beatdown. Cale Makar ran the show and scored two goals and he was ably supported by Valeri Nichushkin who also scored two goals. The one point of concern for the Avalanche would be the injury to Andre Burakovsky who might be out for Games 3 and 4.
Valeri Nichushkin is having himself one heck of a #StanleyCup Final. ?

As for the Tampa Bay Lightning, they head back home down 0-2 in a series once again. They lost the first two games in New York to begin their conference finals series against the New York Rangers before winning four straight matches to book their place in the Stanley Cup Final. They will need to up their game massively against the Avalanche who will be on an all-time high following their two massive wins in Games 1 and 2.
