St Louis Blues will welcome the Edmonton Oilers to Enterprise Center for an NHL game on Wednesday. The Blues were decimated 4-0 in their last game by the Winnipeg Jets. Ryan O’Reilly and Jordan Kyrou had 5 and 4 shots on goal respectively but they could not get through Connor Hellebuyck in the Winnipeg goal.

Blues goaltender Thomas Greiss was in good form as he saved 39 of 42 shots he was peppered with and finished the game with a save percentage of .928. After the game, Brayden Schenn was full of praise for his goaltender and said, “Greiss was great for us tonight. He made a lot of great saves for us and we’ve got to be better in front of him.”

The Edmonton Oilers on the other hand beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-3 in their last game. The goals were spread all across the team as Leon Draisaitl, Zach Hyman, Evander Kane, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Tyson Barrie and Ryan McLeod all were on the scoresheet in what was a convincing win.

After the game, Leon Draisaitl said, “We were just not skating and it seems very obvious with our group that the second we start skating and being engaged that we are extremely hard to stop. It just takes us too long to get to that point right now. That is something we can obviously work on. I am proud of the group and the way we responded in the second and third. But we shouldn’t have to rally back from two or three goals every game.”
