St Louis Blues will welcome the Columbus Blue Jackets to the Enterprise Center for an NHL preseason game on Thursday. St Louis are in fine form at the moment as they won their last three preseason games. Their latest win came as they thrashed the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1 with goals from Ryan O’Reilly, Nikita Alexandrov, Justin Faulk and Griffin Luce. Head coach Craig Berube said after the game, “We talked and I said ‘Listen, it’s training camp, you gotta battle through it.” Which they did in the third period, so I was happy with the third period.”
On the other hand, the Columbus Blue Jackets come into this game after thumping the Buffalo Sabres 4-1. Emil Bemström, Kirill Marchenko, Carson Meyer and Jakub Voráček scored the goals for Columbus in what was a resounding preseason win. Blue Jackets head coach Brad Larsen loved what he saw from his players, especially Carson Meyer and praised him after the game saying, “He was one of the best players on the ice tonight.”
