The game St Louis Blues vs Colorado Avalanche will take place at Enterprise Center, St Louis on Sunday, December 11 at 3:05 PM ET.
Both teams will be attempting to recover from difficult periods as they take on the St. Louis Blues and Colorado Avalanche. The Blues have a 12-15 record and have dropped seven of their previous ten games, while the Avalanche have a 13-10-2 record but have dropped four straight. The forthcoming game appears to be a nice one because both teams want to get better in the Central Division and the Western Conference.
All season long, the Avalanche’s offence carried the team, averaging 3.08 goals per game. However, a slew of injuries has rendered the attack helpless recently, with only five goals scored in the last four games. The offence as a whole has struggled, with defenseman Cale Makar and Devon Toews contributing seven goals and 32 assists from the point while Valeri Nichushkin, Mikko Rantanen, and Alex Newhook have combined for 29 goals and 26 assists. Only four active skaters have six or more assists, and since opposition defences can easily shut down the injury-prone offence, only four active skaters have six assists or more.
Despite their offence rising up and scoring 3.00 goals per game, the Blues are having a terrible season. The top two lines are led by Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou, who have combined for 16 goals and 30 assists, but the rest of the attack has also improved. Defenseman Justin Faulk added four goals and fourteen assists from the point to defensemen Pavel Buchnevich, Vladimir Tarasenko, and Brayden Schenn’s 22 goals and 38 assists, opening up the offence.
