Seattle Kraken will host the Calgary Flames at Climate Pledge Arena for an NHL preseason game on Tuesday. Seattle comes into this game after beating the Edmonton Oilers 3-0 in their last game. Goals from Matty Beniers, Ryan Donato and Morgan Geekie ensured that the Kraken came out on top against the Oilers. Beniers said after the game, “None of us have played a game in a while but after we got into it, we started to play more of a team game.”
The Calgary Flames come into this game after beating the Vancouver Canucks in back to back preseason games. In the first game, which was held at Rogers Arena, Calgary beat Vancouver 3-2 while in the second game, which was held at the Scotiabank Saddledome, the Flames thumped the Canucks 4-0. Mikael Backlund who had two assists in the game said after the game, “We’re all getting to know each other. We’ve got great guys coming in, easy guys to be around.”
