Patrice Bergeron is regarded by many as one of the best ice hockey centre to have played in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born on 24 July,1985 in L’Ancienne-Lorette, Quebec, Canada. He started his minor hockey career in 1998 and played at the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with the team of Sainte-Foy, Quebec City. He also played A hockey for the Seminaire St-François Blizzard before reporting to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

He is also a NHL Plus-Minus Award winner and also won the NHL Foundation Player Award in 2014. He has also won the Mark Messier Leadership Award in 2021 and the King Clancy Memorial Trophy in 2013.
