The game between the Ottawa Senators and Vancouver Canucks will take place at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Canada on Tuesday, November 8 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Ottawa Senators will welcome the Vancouver Canucks to the Canadian Tire Centre for an NHL game on Tuesday. Ottawa lost their last game 2-1 to the Philadelphia Flyers. Claude Giroux was the only player to score a goal for Ottawa as they were narrowly beaten by the Flyers.
Senators coach DJ Smith said after the game, “It comes down to special teams. They score on their power play and we go 0-for-5. The game’s on the line and you get a power play in the third period. We’ve got to find a way to put it in.”
The Vancouver Canucks on the other hand lost their last game 4-3 to the Nashville Predators. Goals from JT Miller, Andrei Kuzmenko and Ilya Mikheyev were not enough as the Canucks were edged in a shootout by the Predators.
Canucks coach Bruce Boudreau spoke to the press after the game and said, “We sat back instead of going after them and then the next thing you know, they’ve got two goals. I think that sometimes it’s like you’re afraid to win. And we righted the ship after that, and they didn’t have a lot but it was too little too late.”
