The game between the Montreal Canadiens and Philadelphia Flyers will take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada on Saturday, November 19 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Montreal Canadiens will welcome the Philadelphia Flyers to Bell Centre for an NHL game on Saturday. Montreal lost their last game 6-4 to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Brendan Gallagher, Nick Suzuki, Jordan Harris and Josh Anderson scored the goals for the Canadiens but they were not sufficient as they lost their eighth game of the season.
Montreal coach Martin St. Louis said after the game, “To me it’s the breakaways more than the goals that were scored on us. Some of the breakaways were self-inflicted. We were careless. We were down two, I thought we could have been down five.”
The Philadelphia Flyers on the other hand were soundly beaten by the Boston Bruins 4-1 in their last game. Owen Tippett was the only Philadelphia player to get on the scoresheet as none of his teammates were able to get past Linus Ullmark in the Boston goal as he finished the game with a save percentage of .957.
Flyers coach John Tortorella said, “We’re going to have to find a way to make more plays to get going offensively. For a lot of minutes, I thought we checked well. We need the guys who can make plays make the plays when they’re there.”
