The Montreal Canadiens will start their NHL campaign by welcoming the Toronto Maple Leafs to the Bell Centre on October 12th. They will then take on the Detroit Red Wings next on October 14th. They have a fairly easy schedule for the month of November as they dont take any of the big guns. Their first big test of the season will come when they welcome last season’s runners up, Tampa Bay Lightning on December 17th. Then on December 21st, the Montreal Canadiens will travel to the Ball Arena to take on defending Stanley Cup champions, Colorado Avalanche.
